Hey everyone! Check out how many times I've actually blogged this month! Crazy, right?
Anywho, today I am excited to share some swatches with you of Sugar Skull Minerals newest collection called 'Young Love.' Vicki was kind enough to send me some samples to share with you, but you can get your hands on these pretties starting July 11, 2014, and it will be a permanent collection. This gorgeous collection includes 11 eye shadows and four blushes!
Let's check out the goods!
First up, we have the blushes. From top to bottom: Like a Virgin, Heart Throb, Sweet Cheeks, Make Me Blush.
These blushes are silky smooth and pigmented. I only used the tiniest amount for these swatches and blended them out. A little will go a long way with these!
And the eye shadows: Faithful, I Heart You, Hickey, Prude, Promise Ring, Picnic in the Park, Sugar Bear, Smooches, Under the Bleachers, Spin the Bottle, XOXO.
So. Much. Awesome. These shadows are seriously so amazing. They are so pigmented and full of gorgeous shimmer and sparkle. And Spin the Bottle-can you say super awesome duochrome?!?!
This is definitely another Sugar Skull collection I'll be purchasing! Everything is so stunning and there are no duds, in my opinion.
Are you as excited about this collection as I am? :)
Also, I think I need a thesaurus, lol.

This collection is a collaboration of three awesome indie companies: Darling Girl, Chinovi, and Glamour Doll Eyes. I only have the Darling Girl portion to share with you, but I am definitely excited to see what the other two companies came up with for this collection!
The Darling Girl Paper Runway collection includes six eye shadows and two blushes. My swatches include the shade Gilt Trip, which was an extra sample I got...might as well swatch everything, right?
From left to right: Gilt Trip, Frock Star, Make it Work, Model Walk, Mod Me Up, City Chic, Fashion Disaster, Kandy Kouture (Inner Glow Blush), It Girl (Soft Focus Blush).
Here are Kandy Kouture and It Girl blended out.
And finally, I have a quick look I put together using Frock Star, Make It Work, Mod Me Up, and Gilt Trip. :)

EOTD: Sugar Cosmetics
As promised, today I have an eye look for you done with the Sugar Cosmetics Smoked eye shadow palette. I also used the Sugar Cosmetics Line'a'licious liquid eye liner that I purchased.
I used all four of the powder shadows in the palette, but I did not use the glitter cream. I wore this look to work and did not want to have to worry about potential creasing. The shadows performed very well. They went on smoothly and were very easy to blend without being blended away into nothing. The liner on the other hand did not perform as well. I was very disappointed because at first swatch, the liner really impressed me. However, while applying on my eyes for this look, the liner started to dry out before I even finished one eye. I don't know if this liner would fare better on days where you aren't going to be wearing any shadows, but it certainly didn't do well over top of them. Sadly, the liner found a new home in the trash after completing this look.
Other products used for this look include Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Chocolate and Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.

First Impression: Sugar Cosmetics
Hello everyone! Today I bring you my first impressions of a few different products from Sugar Cosmetics. Sugar Cosmetics is a makeup line connected with the Sugar Shoes brand. I had heard of Sugar Shoes before, but did not know they had a line of cosmetics until I spotted them on Hautelook. Since everything on Hautelook is marked down, I figured it would be a good opportunity to try out the brand. According to the Sugar Shoes website, these products are available for purchase from Kohl's and Amazon at a price point only slightly higher than most drugstore brands. This post is just my first impressions based on my swatches-stay tuned for another post with a more in depth review!
